Single-Pair-Ethernet

Single-pair Ethernet (SPE) is a technology that enables Ethernet communication via a single wire pair. In contrast to to conventional Ethernet, which uses four pairs of wires, SPE only requires two cables, which saves weight and space. It is primarily used in the industrial and automotive sector, where compact and lightweight cabling is required.

This decision was made deliberately to strengthen our position in the field of industrial network technologies and at the same time to actively participate in the further development of future-orientated communication solutions. The reasons for joining the SPE System Alliance are manifold and the expectations we have of this partnership are high.
